Near the village of Berawa, at walking distance from Berawa beach, Villa Desa Roro Dua is a charming family-friendly holiday home in Canggu, providing guests with a relaxed and welcoming ambiance to rest and rejuvenate their senses. The luscious gardens and rich tropical foliage bring you a step closer to nature so you can finally breathe easy and enjoy time with your friends and family. There is a lot that the villa has to offer including a glorious swimming pool with a shallow area for little ones, excellent living and dining spaces, spacious bedrooms, a private BBQ terrace and much more. A friendly staff team cooks, grills and arranges massages on request, and the villa connects to Villa Desa Roro (5 bedrooms) next door for larger groups.

Outdoor and Pool area

The magnificent outdoor gardens and swimming pool of Villa Desa Roro Dua are landscaped in a way that enhances the beauty of the natural greenery and the dense vegetation. The 12-metre swimming pool is set amidst towering coconut trees and walled gardens. A shallow area keeps small children happy and safe. You can sunbathe on the deck loungers or read a book, with a chilled drink in hand. A traditional bale is home to a daybed, ideal for afternoon siestas or in-house massages arranged by the staff. Behind the pool, you will discover a stone path leading up to the main living pavilion. Tucked among the palms, a private BBQ terrace has its own outdoor dining table for dinners grilled by the team.

Living Areas

The stunning open-plan living area is right off the swimming pool and features a high-vaulted ceiling that is traditionally Balinese. The room is furnished with wooden armchairs, lounge chairs, tables, cushioned chairs and sofas. There are rugs and decorative artefacts that speak volumes of Balinese heritage and enable you to experience Balinese culture in the comforts of the villa. The spacious room is lounge-worthy as you can spread out and have a cozy time with your friends and family while the fresh breeze fills the room. The room also features a large work desk with a view over the pool as well as a dining table for six.
There are ample sitting areas around the room, with low-floor chairs, rugs, and couches everywhere for a homely atmosphere. A fully equipped modern kitchen is part of the living space, and comes with everything you could possibly need to explore your culinary talents. A wooden table with four benches next to the kitchen is perfect for morning coffee. When it's game time, choose from a poker set, Scrabble, Monopoly, Jenga and plenty more. The open space and the large windows allow for cross-ventilation so the area remains cool and comfortable throughout the day.

Bedrooms

The romantic and comely design of Villa Desa Roro Dua comes across amazingly through its two air-conditioned bedroom suites that are decorated with complete traditional attire. With colorful rugs, bright wall hangings, and vibrant artwork each bedroom is a sight to behold. The king-sized beds are lavish and luxurious, perfect for a lie-in when you're feeling lazy and would rather stay indoors. There are armchairs and drawers in the rooms, again rustic and vintage-looking. One bedroom has a Smart TV, and a baby cot can be set up on request.
The doors to the rooms are equally gorgeous as they are made from handcrafted wood. Each bedroom comes with an opulent and spacious en-suite bathroom as well. Natural stone basins, decorative shower walls, mirror separated bathing areas are only some of the remarkable features of the bathrooms.

Staff & Services

The wonderful staff at the villa are present to look after the guests without a moment's delay. They will happily and readily cater to your needs and their kind nature is sure to bring a smile to your face and make your stay all the more worthwhile. They love having children around, and their home-cooked meals are a guest favourite, from slow breakfasts to dinners grilled on your private BBQ terrace. Massages in the bale can be arranged too, and the Villa Finder Concierge can organize a private chef, babysitter, baby cots and high chairs, restaurant bookings, and a car with driver. Meals, BBQs and massages are organized on request at an additional cost.

Around the Villa

Canggu has fast become a hip place to hang out, with plenty going on in terms of nightlife, restaurants and beaches. Berawa Beach is about 850 m from the villa. Mata Berawa, on the villa's own street, serves honest Indonesian dishes, and Milk & Madu Berawa is a much-loved family café with a kids' playground and children's menu. The famous Finn's Beach Club is nearby for sunset drinks, and several well-regarded yoga studios are a short ride away. Seminyak's shops, bars and nightlife are about a 10-minute drive (depending on traffic).
The villa is located on the main street of Canggu, so light traffic noise can sometimes be heard from inside.
